Homework Assignment: Cluster Class
Objective: To reinforce the techniques learned in the 10 Ways to Make a Cluster Class by creating and practicing balloon clusters. This class was made available to you after our last Zoom session. If you haven't yet watched the class, here's your chance!
Instructions:
Review the Cluster Class Video:
- Rewatch the Cluster Class video to ensure you understand the techniques and steps involved in creating balloon clusters.
- To access the video, sign in to YouTube with the same email you used to sign up for Jexsy School
Create Clusters:
- Using the techniques demonstrated in the class, create a maximum of seven balloon clusters.
- Do not attach the clusters to each other.
Bring Your Clusters to Class:
- Bring your completed balloon clusters to our next class session.
- Be prepared to showcase your work and discuss any challenges you encountered during the process.
Tips for Success:
- Ensure your balloons are properly inflated and tied securely.
- Practice creating clusters of different sizes and colors to refine your skills.
- Feel free to develop your unique cluster style.
- Pay attention to the integration (avoid gaps) and balance of your clusters.
-
My favorite clusters to create garlands are:
- Butterfly cluster
- Organic cluster (with and without large balloon)
- Micro cluster
Class Demonstration:
- During the session, I will demonstrate how to attach the clusters to each other using different techniques.
- I will use seven clusters to create my garland.
- Please feel free to follow along.
Community Support:
- We've been interacting and supporting each other through our class app throughout the entire month. I am proud of the supportive community you have created.
- Feel free to share your progress, ask questions, and seek feedback on the Wix app as you work on your clusters.
If you haven't already, be sure to join our Spaces app by Wix, where you can connect with other students, access class resources, and join groups to stay updated on the latest news and events.
I'm excited to see your creative balloon clusters in our next class!
